Alley Story

 The Alley Story

What started as a normal vacation in Belize ended with Jessica saying “I Do” to her then boyfriend of 6 years Aaron. This love story was one that truly inspired us by the pure love these two have for each other. Neither would have guessed, one date, 6 years ago, would turn into a lifetime of happiness, but we’re happy it did!

The Planning:

in the early stages of planning this wedding, the bride was very adamant about three things 1. not wanting a traditional wedding, 2. having a reception space that could be transformed into a lounge, and 3. getting married in September. After searching and finding options that fit her criteria but weren’t available during her time period or out of budget, we decided to take a step back and figure out how we could make some of our traditional options work in non-traditional ways. After some sorting, we were able to redefine our search and got back out there. After a few days of searching, the couple was excited to pick the Carlisle Banquets as their wedding location. This location offered two different rooms for the wedding and the ceremony, the date that the couple wanted, the location was close to hotels for guest and close to beautiful picture locations for after the wedding. As a bonus, they gave the couple a great price because PTE has previously done other events there. The money saving didn’t stop there, we were also able to save this couple money on their photobooth and floral needs. They worked with our preferred vendors who both gave them exactly what they were looking for within and under their budget!

The wedding:

Jessica and Aaron’s wedding was a mystical forest with their colors being hunter green and gold. Every part from invitations to decor had a touch of greenery to blend everything with the theme. The wedding aisles were lined with eucalyptus vines, stemless candles, white roses and loose greenery while the stage had a gold circular arch laced with similar greenery. It made it feel as though you were walking through an enchanted forest. Reception tables were decorated with a variance of small floral arrangements and vases with floating candles. To incorporate the bride’s wishes for a non-traditional ceremony, the officiant, Judge Derek Mosley, made the ceremony interactive for all who attended by having guest play just as much of a role in blessing the marriage as he. Instead of the traditional guestbook, the couple had guest sign jenga pieces leaving them words of wisdom and advice and instead of the traditional bridal table, the couple allowed for their bridal party to sit with their invited guest at designated tables and opted for a sweetheart table. The wedding day itself went off without a hitch. Everything went according to schedule, there were no mishaps, and the weather was perfect! Overall the couple was extremely pleased with how the wedding day turned out.
